Bump on Veiled Chameleon

Bump between eyes

Bump between eyes

Hello. My name is Romana Harris. I am desperately seeking your help in regards to my friend Dro. My concern is a wonderful female Veiled Chameleon named Dro. She is two years old and has laid three clutches of infertile eggs. The most recent being about 2 weeks ago. She has a lump between her eyes that that has been there about 6 months. It slightly ruptured yesterday and a light yellowish fluid oozed out. It looks like a cyst. It does not affect her eating or drinking and she still appears healthy. Can you please give me some kind of idea as to what I should do? The vet by me charges $65 to walk in the door. We would be forever grateful to you for any information. Please help us. I am very worried about her. She is a great friend. I have attached some pictures.

criminal costs
by: Karen

Vets are so expensive, it's almost criminal. I'd not like to do DIY surgery on my pet though. You could try asking a nearby reptile pet store what they reckon, but they'll probably just say go to a vet.
