Welcome, Lover Of Reptiles!

From the tiniest adorable gecko hatchling to the terrifying saltwater crocodile, reptiles are some of the most beautiful creatures alive. They are popular as pets and becoming more so all the time. This is hardly surprising given the high "wow, cool!" factor a pet python or iguana attracts.

I have a passion for these creatures that is in my heart, in the very blood running through my veins. I have shared lodgings with many a scaly companion, have handled many types of turtles and lizards, and I've even had a friend's pet carpet python hatchling nesting in my hair! (I had dreadlocks at the time...I know...I was at uni, give me a break!).

I must admit I have a thing for reptilian evolution. It has always fascinated me, from when I was a small child first learning about dinosaurs. To me it is the story of the world, of our own history in the distant past. I am working towards making that information available to all in an easy to read style.
